can i record dv movie saved on movie maker to dvd without loss off original
quality. i understand it can be saved to dv tape but can it be saved to dvd

yes... using DVD software, not Movie Maker.... the quality loss will be the
normal amount when compressing to MPEG-2 files for the disc.
