One of laptops keeps getting an error pop up saying "Digital Line Detected"
"Please verify that your phone line is analog". It receives this error when
the phone line is not even plugged in. What would cause this error? How
can I fix it?

Check out this Dell forum page. I encounter this problem after I installed the Logitech mouse driver so this must be the sources of the problem.
