I'm trying to capture video from a Sony Digital HandyCam Model DCR-TRV22 with
WMM. I'm using a USB cable

When I use the Video Capture Wizard and get to the Video Settings screen,
the Digital device format (DV-AVI) is greyed out and I can't click on this
setting.

I'm wanting to transfer later to DVD and I understand this is the best
setting for making DVDs.

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks in advance!

Tim

You have to use the Firewire/iLink connection to be
able to transfrer as DV-AVI.
You require a firewire cable.
The USB connection should only be used to transfer
captured still images from the Cam's memory card.
