First, I have a Kodak DX 3700 digital camera and have
been trying to get it to work with XP. I have no problem
moving pictures via the camera dock but cannot access it
otherwise. Does anyone know which camera driver I could
use that would work. List only shows 3 Kodaks and none
of them are close. Second, have been getting quite a few
messenger pop-ups from Endads.com.. is there anyone else
with this problem and how have you solved it. Thankyou
in advance.

First suggestion would be to check the Kodak website. Do they have a FAQs
or Forum?

This is more straight-forward.

Have a look at these pages and see if the problem described seems familiar.

The info here should help you deal with this problem simply and
quickly although you may want to install a third-party firewall rather than
use the XP built-in version, the choice is yours. But get a firewall up and
running as soon as possible.

"Stopping Advertisements with Messenger Service Titles"
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...e/stopspam.asp

Or, in more detail, here

"Messenger Service Window That Contains an Internet Advertisement Appears"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;330904

Be aware that simply disabling the messenger service will *not* fix the
problem - it will only stop the messages appearing. Your system will remain
at risk until you properly enable a firewall.

Hope that helps

Just to follow up on the Kodak issue.

The Kodak website has an extensive FAQ section with Knowledge Base articles
to search.

According to the info here

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/servi...Software.jhtml

XP has the necessary drivers - confirmed by the fact that you can transfer
photos.

If you are trying to use Kodak's software you need to be using their
EASYSHARE software or Picture Software V1.4. There's a download available
at the link.

Hope that helps
