I have a panasonic ag-dvc30 camcorder that MS XP would recognize through my
vid editing program. I purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium.

Vista does not see/recognize the camera at all. I've used several different
vid capture programs.

Suggestions?

IEEE 1394 (firewire) connection or USB?

If IEEE 1394, you could try this Microsoft hotfix:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930495

If USB, you will have to get a driver/program from Panasonic.
