using win x
when I plug the cam or card reader into the usb port, windows finds it and installs the drivers needed but it never shows up as a removable mass storage device in the control pane
how can I find the device
it shows up in the usb monitor to close it but I can't find it to get my pics off of it
Please help

Use the software that came with the camera.

Does it show in My Computer? Just move the files from your
card reader to My Pictures.

      3rd Jan 2004
Right click on My Computer and click on Manage. On the following screen,
click on Disk Management... it should now show up on the right hand side...
you can now assign it a drive letter.
