Hi folks,

to give an overview about my intentions and what i did so far:

I have purchased Access 2003 (office sp1) and Visual Studio Tools for
Office
2005 in order to create msi-Files incl. the Access-Runtime with Package
Wizard based on an adp-project (developed with 2k, converted to 2k3)

I read on ms-website that access 2003 developer extensions (ade) are
delivered (/are provided) with Visual Studio Tools for Office, and that
ade
provides these wizards to create msi (with runtime) files.

Here I found a nice page with a link where to get ade:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/pro...nd%20Utilities
but it's dead.
The only file i found is a "german ade user interface pack" which needs
ade.
So where do i get these ade? On the cd, from an hidden microsoft server
or ...

Neither VSTO nor Access2003 GUI gives any menu entries.

Did I completely miss something ?

Any hints or pointing me to the right thread will be greatly
appreciated.

Michael

"... The Access 2003 Developer Extensions is not available as a
stand-alone product, but is included in your Microsoft Developer
Network (MSDN) Universal subscription, if you have one. The Access 2003
Developer Extensions also ships with the Microsoft Visual StudioŽ
Tools for the Microsoft Office System ..."

since i have no MSDN subscription i cannot search in this corner - but
BTW how is it delivered with the MSDN ?

but much more important:
actually i must have got it with VSTO delivered from my software seller
.... since i made a complete install of VSTO and did not find neither a
menu entry (do i have to start it on the cmdline?) nor an exe/msi/setup
on the cd - i have to consider the product was _not completely
delivered. is that right ?

thanx, michael
