I'm looking for some help for the following problem:
At the shop I bought a wireless networking kit, in which one USB wireless
adapter was included. I installed the adapter as prescribed: first the
drivers, before connecting the USB. And it works perfect, as works the rest
of my network. But I have one very irritant problem: the USB drivers won't
load when the computer is started. The device manager says (with
exclamation) some unrecognized USB-device is attached. I need to dis- and
reconnected the USB-cable and it works fine again. Even restarting the
computer (thus, without switching of power) doesn't influence the
functioning of the adapter, nor the worse (unloading driver) or the better
(loading after malicious start).
I will be very great full for those who are able and willing to help me.
Some details are:
Motherboard: P4B
USB adapter: Q-tech 771WU
OS: Windows XP UK SP1
Switching computer doesn't make any difference. Think the problem is in WXP,
because my USB Bluetooth stick has the same problem.
