| I just exchanged Dell Inspiron 600m notebook computers, with presumably
| identical installed and current XP Pro operating systems. When I shut down,
| the closing screen options are very different. The new computer has a text
| box that is
| titled "Shut Down Windows", with a drop down menu of five selections.
|
| The other computer offers a very simple box titled "Turn off computer" with
| three icons - Standby, Turn Off and Restart. The Standby icon changes to
| Hibernate if I hold the Shift key.
|
| I am used to this latter screen and am wondering if you could explain the
| difference and tell me how to get the icon screen. It's not critical, but it
| does have me puzzled. Many thanks.
