I can't get FP 2003 to allow me to put different wording on a link that
corresponds to the same banner for that page. As an example, I want to put
the same company name on every banner but I want to have different wording
on the links (or buttons) so that a page might have the company name on each
banner but each link would have different wording. Can that be done? Thanks.

Create image banner in a image application, import into your current open FP web / site, then insert
into the top shared border on your home page and make sure the top shared border is set as the web /
site default so that it will appear on all pages.

Thanks but I'm not sure what you are talking about. Can it be done by FP
alone or do I need something else?

As Tom said, Create image banner in a image application
This would be whatever image app you have installed, such as PhotoShop,
Microsoft Image Composer, Irfanveiw, etc.

To do what you want, requires that you either

You type your banner text directly into the top shared border or You create a banner in a image
application and then import and insert that in the top shared border, so that it will appear on each
page and not use the FP Banner component

I am using a theme. Will this work using FP 2003 with a theme?

Yes, just delete the current banner component and insert text or an image with your text in it's
place.
