A different SSL question

Our web site host is w/BCentral and to make pages or the site using SSL is
supposed to be easy, by clicking the SSL "box" in our admin area. My problem
is that even with that (I have since unchecked it until I can figure this
out) I find that I cannot find the root directory to put anything into. I
thought that I understood all this about files, but don't see it because I
don't know what I'm looking for! I have FP2003. In the instructions on how
to use SSL to encrypt a web in FP2003, it starts out by saying I need to
create a new web. I'm trying to make at least one page secure of an
established web site (just name and address type info, no credit cards, but
still would like it to be secure).
Does any of this make sense?

1. In FP you do not need to connect to your web site via SSL.

2. In page that you want to open in SSL mode you create the hyperlink as
https://www.domainname.com/pagename.htm, etc.

3. If you are problem with your account, you need to contact your web host support.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.
