is there any way i can keep different screen resolutions for each user
account? my brother prefers 1280x1024 and i prefer 1024x768

Nope, suggested it during the beta. You just have to manually change it.

any software that could do it each time in log in?

MVP Doug Knox created a utility to do this in XP. I have no idea if it
will work in Vista, but here's the link:

http://www.dougknox.com

Click on Win XP Utilities and then on Keep User display Settings. If you
decide to use this (and it will run), make a System Restore point first.
Or you may wish to contact Doug about it first.

hey! i remember this one. i tired it on xp long back but it never worked.
didnt cause any problems though on xp atleast.
