Different results for user logging on at different workstations (NT4.0)

I have a situation where a user running an application on WTS 2000 experiences different results depending on where he logs in

For example, if he logs in from his workstation (NT4.0), the application will not work. But if he logs onto the WTS from another workstation (NT4.0 or XP), everything works fine

Can anyone provide a clue as to why a user would be prevented from running an app only on one particular workstations's RDP connection

In which way does the application fail? Doesn't it start at all?
Does it produce an error message? What kind of application is
this? Can the same user start other applications from the same
client without problems?
Have you checked if all workstations run the same version of the
rdp client? I would update all to the latest 5.2.3709 version,
downloadable here:

I partially solved the problem. The application can be run maximized, but it must take up full screen

I think this might be application related, not a Terminal server issue
