I have a document and I want a different page border for each page. Only it
wont let me do this. I can either have it on all or none. When I select "this
section" it still does it for the whole document. There are certain pages I
don't want borders on at all, but can't get them to go away without having
them go away for the whole document. Is there a solution to this?

You do have to set the different pagebreaks to get what you want. I chose
"Next Page" and applied a border to two of the three sections as you
described. First one with border second not third one with a border. So as
you describe it, it should work if you have the different pagebreaks
correctly set.

A section in a Word document is that part of the document between section
breaks. Unless you have added section breaks, then your entire document is
only one section. Use Insert > Break > Next Page (for example) to divide
everything before your insertion point and everything after into separate
sections.
