While Access and Outlook have possibilities, one has to build from the
ground up.
Even with a small office, we opted for MS's CRM application. It integrates
with Outlook very nicely and gives all the relationship mgmt options one
could want. We primarily chose it for the 'joint' calender, which doesn't
seem to be available in any other MS application, but if I sound like an ad
for CRM - trust me it has been very painful for a small firm with no IT
staff. I'd be happy to elaborate further if need be.
