my media player changed overnight and took all my media library files with it
and now i am unable to burn cd's or download from my documents and burn onto
cd's. Please help me. The windows media player I have now starts with a movie

You're going to have to
1) explain in more detail what your previous and current players are
how it could take "all your media library files with it"
2) what does "downlaod from My Documents" mean?
3) your specific issues with CD burning e.g. error messages
4) what sort of movie clip - what is the content?
5) "does not allow me to copy my music" : from where to where exactly?

After reading Mike's comments and finding answers you can try a Restore
of your system that may bring back your files and the media player. You may
have picked up some malware/spyware while surfing the web. You can
restore your system up to 90 days back. Pick a bold date to before the
problem started.

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition - Download Free version and Run It
