Different file / folder sizes in OL and OE

Hello,
after I imported all my mail from OE to OL 2003, the Outlook.pst file size
was 255 MB. I checked OE and its corresponding mail folder size was 355 MB.
I compacted both mail accounts hoping that the difference in size of those
two folders (in OL the *.pst file and in OE the identity folder)would
shrink, but it did not.
Does anyone knows the reason why OL has a smaller file size?
Thanks,
AJS

Thanks,
I posted this question before, but did not get a satisfying answer:
When I imported mail from OE to OL the little arrows on replied and
forwarded mail were missing. How do I import / export mail such that those
arrows will also show in OL.
Thanks,
AJS

Outlook and OE keep track of replies and forwards in totally different ways. I wouldn't expect that kind of information to transfer.

Thanks, any idea how to transfer or what else I could do to keep the arrows,
so that I can keep track of which emails I forwarded or replied?

When you feel a need to know, use Outlook's "Find Related Items" command to search for matching reply and forward messages.
