Hi,

Info about this setting is written at AppliedDPI entry in key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

so for every user this setting can be different.

My PC has two accounts for me & my wife. I like to use the large 120 DPI
setting and my wife prefers the normal 96 DPI setting. But, it seems that
the DPI setting is global. For instance, if I change it to "large" in my
account, my wife's DPI is changed to "large", too.

Is it possible to have a different DPI setting per user in XP Pro Sp2?

There are utilities available for download to do this (since it's not native
to XP):
