Hello!

Can I set a separate default printer for two different programs? For
example, when I want to send a fax, I use the Windows Imaging software to
capture the image(s) and "print" them to the fax. When I print a fax, I want
to computer to print to a printer.

In theory yes. In practice, maybe. It depends on a combination of windows,
drivers, and application software.
An application program may use the system default printer, or it's own
default printer. It may also reset/chamge the system default printer. (Boo,
Hiss!)
