Hi,

What are the differences between logging on at the server itself (I
think that is called Interactive Logon) and logging on via a Terminal
Server Client?

In our situation Novell's Zen for Desktops distributes the wished
policies to Windows2000 workstations, and that is OK.

This happens also for a user who logs on interactively on a
Windows2000 Advanced Server in Application Mode of Terminal Server.

But the policies are NOT correctly distributed when the users makes a
connection to that same server via a TerminalServer Client, and of
course that is the way they are normally connected

(We use NovellClient 4.83, profiles are stored on a Netware6 server)

Thanks for your attention!

There is very little difference between logging on locally
at the console and logging in through terminal services.

When you installed the Novell software, did you do it
through the add/remove programs (in install mode)?

Hi Mathew,

Yes! I installed NovellClient on the TerminalServer in InstallMode.
You say there is little difference between the two ways of loggin on,
but, alas, I note an unwished difference in applying policies.....
