Differences between 2003 and 2000?

I've created a highly animated presentation (lots of photos with fades in and
out) in Power Point 2003 (size = 5.5 MB). I have encountered difficulties
running the slide show on my home computer, which is not very powerful. But
it works great on my work PC. My group is meeting tonight for a practice run
at the meeting site. When I called to find out what version of Power Point
they use, they said they use 2000. Do you know what issues I can expect to
encounter? This has been a huge project, and I don't have a lot of time left
to fool with it. The meeting site does not allow us to run our own laptop,
so I have to run it from my flash drive and will be dependent on their
version of Power Point. I'd like to find an article explaining the
differences between 2003 and 2000..... Thank you!!

Basically they are the same for the running part of it. What you won't see
are any of the 2003 added animations if you happened to use any. The easiest
way to combat this is to click on Tools, Options, Edit and checkmark the
bottom 3 boxes under the Disable new feature.

Many of the animations in 2003 do not exist in 2000 and will fail to work.
Further 2000 has NO EXIT animations at all and they too will fail. My
suggestion is to use the 2003 viewer for your show. It is available as a
free download from MS.

THANK YOU!!! What wonderful information - exactly what I needed since all
60+ photos in my presentation utilize entrance AND exit animation! I've
downloaded the viewer file and crossed my fingers.....thank you again!!
