difference in modify and full control permission

Dear sir

I have been asked to answer by a company in a interview to
find the difference in the MODIFY and the FULL control
permision , on a file / folder in win 2000 server

Plus pls direct me to a downloadable site where i can find
stuff on NTFS 4.0 and NTFS 5.0 file system

Pls pls I might get a job if i asnaswer it correct and in
time
