Hi >>> I have no other choice to do a system restore
because of connectivity with this computer ... I was
getting this error here Startservices >>>> THE SERVICE
DATABASE IS LOCKED ... Any ways so i did do system
restore which got me back up and running but now when i
view my add and remove programs it shows programs that i
did delete off my computer ... So now when i try to
delete them again i get something about its not
possible ... How can i remove the programs that i once
already delete from add and remove programs area ???

Hi PPPPaul,

You can remove the defunct entries via the registry editor. Go to Start>Run
and key in regedit then click on OK or hit ENTER. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Uninstall
When the Uninstall folder is expanded, look for the entries for the
"problem" programs beneath....right-click on each and select Delete. Click
on Yes in the confirmation dialogue box.
When finished editing, close the Registry editor.
