did syst restore, and lost all my office 2003 programs. get error message
1706 when i try to open one.
bought computer from a tech pro who delivered it installed with xp.
cannot find the disc he gave me then, and he is on vacation.
still have all my docs, but can't open them

have nod 32 2.7, run it weekly

tried to undo restore, didn't work
tried to rest to prev dates, 3 x, didn't work
syst rest renamed files. could that be the prob?
when i go to user accounts, the pics next to admin accounts are gone, just a
sm white box w/ a red cross in it.
also, firefox, disckeeper, don't work

Restoring a system to a time before an application was installed will remove
all monitored files associated with the install.

You could try repairing Office under the Help menu, but this may require the
Office CD.
