I'm having problems with my mouse pointer disappearing.
It still works but it goes in and our of the visibilty.
It isn't random as it disappears in specific areas time
and time again but not in others. It also applies to
multiple applications but not in such a way to indicate
theere is a monitor problem/ For example, when I go into
the the Paint application, the pencil tool is invislb when
the mouse pointer is over the drawing. If I use the paint
brush tool, I can see the pointer. The mouse will
disappear in Excel spreadsheets but will display anywhere
else in the Excel application. If I connect to another
machine via Terminal Services, it disappears completely.
However, if I VNC from the Termianl Services computer to a
third computer, for example, the mouse works in the VNC
window. It's very wiered and I have no idea what to do.
I've tried updating drivers, switching from USB to PS2,
Everything!! I can't get the problem to go away.
Advice? Please?

After all the work I put into fixing this, I finally
decide to ask for help and then I figure it out. Well
none the less, it's good. I stopped blaming the mouse and
addressed the video drivers. All is better now.
