I have outlook 2003 on a 2.4 ghz system with 512MB
running a pop email account. I have no problems sending
and recieving email however this week all the sudden my
emails in my inbox went away. My inbox was empty however
the small indicator said I have 5 unread messages. Even
up in the Unread Mail in my favorite folders It says I
have 5 unread and I can see them there and read them once
I read it and it leaves the unread it disapears and the
unread mail drops by one. I was testing this and I
recieved a new mail message while I was looking at my
blank inbox I read the message it changed to a read mail
and was still there. I left the inbox and went to the
deleted items box then went back to the inbox and it was
empty. I went to help and it told me to run scanpst.exe
but it was not on my system. What now? any Ideas?

Go to the respective mailbox, then VIEW / ARRANGE BY /
CURRENT VIEW, make sure MESSAGES is checked. Also, make
sure AUTO ARCHIVE in options is not on...
