I have a big problem. I have several HTML 1 page files that do not link
together. I created them in design mode.

After I finished and saved all the pages assigning a title to each along
with a description with keywords I opened each within a text editor to read
the html code.

For some reason, the title for each page is stored in the HTML of all the
pages. I don't want this. Anyone know why frontpage did this and how to
remove without editing each file in a text editor?

What is FP "design" mode? Is it FP 2003 name for HTML view in FPC 2000.?
(I am still using FP 2000.)

Anyway, things can move out of place when FP tries to correct problems,
if you have missing HTML tags or you do not close HTML tags properly.

You are going to have to edit each file. You can do that with FP. Or a
text editor.

Design Mode (or View) is the normal WYSIWYG mode. FP2003 calls HTML view
"HTML View".

FP 2003 has three modes: "Design" (Wysiwyg); "Split" (combined
wysiwyg/code); "Code" (the html code view).

When you assign a title to a page, the title is written into the page
in the <title>title goes here</title> tags in the <head> section.
All pages should have a <title>
