Dialup, ISDN, Scripting and Terminal window

I attempted to set up my classic CompuServe account on my XP Pro machine,
and had considerable trouble. Finally, I found that both the Terminal Window
and the Script are not supported by XP on an ISDN connection. (From the pop
up help).
Does anyone have a solution?
