dialog drop down doesn't work

      13th Apr 2004
used to be when i clicked on run or some other dialog box and then started
typing a name a drop down list would show up showing assumed path / filename
i am typing. does this make sense ?

but now it is gone so how do i get it back ?

If you are using a Tweaker or edit/policy that is clearing Recent Docs,
History, Run commands, etc on exit, you will need to revert it. More info

Thanks Kelly it may have been that and in internet explorer settings i had
autocomplete turned off ( didn't realize that it also affected normal
windows operations )
