Hello All,

We are running a Windows 2003 Server environment with
Exchange 2003 Server and Outlook 2003 for clients.
Whenever a user attempts to schedule an appointment that
contains invitees to a public calendar, he/she is met with
the following message before the appointment can be
scheduled:

"Responses to this meeting request will not be tallied
because this meeting is not in your main calendar folder.
Is this Ok?"

Is there any way around this message? Is it possible
to tally responses in a public calendar (maybe by making
the public calendar the main calendar folder)? If not, is
it possible to duplicate the appointment in the users main
calendar folder and tally responses that way? I would
appreciate any information or suggestions regarding this
matter.

Thanks,

I would have the client "Invite the Public Folder" when they
make a meeting on their own calendar.

Just have them "Make a Meeting" but have them send a copy
to the SMTP of the Public Folder (Or make the PF available
in the GAL so they can just select it as a recipient).

Is the PF mail enabled?
