Hi guys,

First of all, sorry for the cross-posting. It's because I
am tired to find info and not encoutering any.

My case is simple (similar to other questions here, not yet answered):

1. I have an win2k machine connected to the net (broadband)
2. I have other win98 machine far away from here with a modem
3. I have one dedicated telephony line connecting the win98 box to the
win2k box

All I want is: using my win98 box with the modem and the privative
line, dial into the win2k box and access the net through it.

Nothing more.

In linux, using pppd + porstlave + radius, this task can be done with
some easy steps.

But I simply could not do it using win2k.

The modem connects, the authentication process, the line connects, the
ip's are assigned, but the win98 box simply can't browse the net. I
appears to be impossible in win2k to share the broadband connection
using ras servers.

Anyone can get me a clue on this ?

Thanks,
ev

On the Win98 box, in the properties for the dial-up connection, try
setting it to 'Use default gateway on remote network'.

Is the IP address the Win98 client gets a valid Internet address? If not you
need to configure NAT on the Win2k RRAS box and then follow this KB:
