All,
I was at a Hot Spot in Mexico City and had connected
without a problem. After about an hour of being connected,
my connection abruptly ended with a Dial-Up networking
window popping up out of nowhere.
I had a strong signal and had already been authenticated
with I started my session an hour prior to getting that
dial-up pop up window. After getting that window I could
no longer connect. I right clicked over lower right hand
wireless network connection icon and selected the proper
SSID and clicked on connect. Whenever I started internet
explorer, hoping to get the authentication page, I kept on
getting the dial-up networking window.
I had already set up my network connections, so that it
would "Never dial a connection". So why does that dial-up
window keep on popping up and why can't i connect to the
hot spot?
your help is greatly appreciated.
