I may be asking too much here and thus am in over my head
but here goes. I have a network currently with 6 Win2K Pro
work stations and Win2K Server on the dedicated server. I
also have a WinXPpro notebook that I have had trouble
connecting wireless. It will connect to the network via
ethernet cable and works fine. Otherwise it connects to
the internet that is attached to the server wirelessly (I
made that word up, I think) but not the local network. I
can live with that for now but the second problem is that
I want to be able to dial into my network from home using
this laptop and the phone line. I'm not sure of the
settings I need to add or change since the laptop already
is set to connect via the network card locally. Please
help me put in the correct settings, or direct me to
instructions for this setup.

You should be to connect to your network from home through a VPN or DUN connection provided that you have a VPN or RRAS server already installed.
