Dial Up Disconnect

Can anyone help with instructions on how to set up a window asking me if I
want to "Stay Connected" or "Disconnect" after leaving Outlook Express or
Explorer. I have just purchased a new computer with Windows XP Home, and
the sales people can not tell me how to install this feature. I use a dial
up service and keep forgetting to disconnect when leaving these programs.
