My dailup connection to the internet comes up with a
password that is about 15 "dots" long. Every time I have
to delete it and enter my password to my ISP. I have t
ried to enter the correct password and save it, but
everytime the "bogus" password reappears. Any help would
be appreciated.

For security reasons, Windows XP encrypts and changes the
length of a password. While it may appear incorrect, the password
is actually correct, just click on "connect".
