Dial up connection freezing on disconnect

Hi,
maybe someone in here has a fix for my little problem, im
currently connection to the web via an ISDN connection,
the problem is so much with the connection as with
disconnecting, when i try to terminate the connection my
P.C freezes. I'm running Windows XP Pro. Please help or
i'm gonna be stuck online for eternity!
