I can create a location and the dial rules that will work
within my area code, seperating the local call frlom the
long distance calls.
(Local calls use a 9####### while long distance calls use
80#######,,1########## sequence)
But then long distance calls outside of my area code will
try to dial using only 1####### which does not work.
I have done this using just the area code rules. If I add
an access code 80#######,,1 to the long distance calling
under the general tab, it works fine for calls outside my
area code but inside it tries to use the long distance
access code twice on call outside my local call area but
inside my area code and use the longditance code to call
the local calls.
If I remove the area code rules, It will call long
distance outside my area code fine, but the it will try
to just use 9########## inside my area code.
What I need is a dial rule setup that will use the long
distance access for area codes outside my area code AND
those outside my local prefix area but still inside my
area code AND use only a 9 before calls inside my area
code and are local prefixes.
If this has been asked and answered before please point
me to it or other resources. I am having trouble finding
an answer to this question.
Thanks in advance,
Don
