the "diagnostic" sub program doesn't seem to run correctly

I too have reloaded sound blaster audigy many times. MY PROBLEM IS THat it's
due to the fact the the sub program titled "diagnostics" used within the
speaker test routine will either fail me on the test after I get a passed
grade on the speakers or the it has not been loaded at all and the following
message appears when I try to select it "the audio device supported by this
application may not be present or may be in an unsupported mode. you should
close the application". I have yet get it to run right . I called creative
and they want me to mail it back along with $25.00(+) TO FIX IT. any help in
this mater woud be greatly appreciated thank you

Do you hav the correct software supplied with the device by the manufacturer
i.e. creative.
