Where do I find the DHCP settings. I need to verify that
these are correct for my network.

Luke

Can you be a bit more specific? Are you looking for DHCP settings on a client machine (if so, what OS?) or on a server/domain controller or on a router

If you are looking for client information for Windows XP just open a command
prompt and type IPCONFIG /ALL

I am trying to set-up a small network. I am using a
router and I can't see the computers so i was told to
check the DHCP settings. I am using XP on all PCs.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click "Network and Internet
Connections", and then click Network Connections.

2. Right-click the network connection that you want to configure, and
then click Properties.

3. On the General tab (for a local area connection), or the Networking
tab (for all other connections), click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and
then click Properties.

4. Click "Obtain an IP address automatically".

I am trying to make sure that the set-up is for automatic
assignment.
