DHCP running out of addresses

I have a strange problem with DHCP running out of addresses.

I set up a scope of 192.168.10.10 through 192.168.10.90.

Dhcp will hand out (for example), 192.168.10.10, 11, 24, 28 31,90 - and then
I get the error message that says there are 0 addresses left.

The number will vary, but it will always fail.

Everything seems to be set up right - but I guess I am missing something
rudimentary.

Any help ?

TIA

JM

Perhaps this information will help you. Why not just expand the range of IP
addresses to be assigned? Out to 255, for example?

DHCP Clients Are Unable to Get IP Addresses from a DHCP Server

Increasing the number of IP addresses on a subnet in DHCP Server
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;255999

Perhaps a read through this information will help:

Thanks for your reply

The issue is that I have assigned 81 addresses and it says it is "empty"
after assigning 5. Where are these other addresses going ? (They do not
respond to "ping")

I don't see how increasing the scope will help (?)
