However there is simply no option 81 available on the DHCP server, why?
Apart from this, Dynamic DNS appears to work ok.

It is my understanding that option 81 implicitly corresponds
to the Win2K/Win2K3 DHCP server's "DNS" tab properties
update setting. It is not configurable as an independent DHCP
option.
