Hello
Recently I'm getting the following error on my Win2K workstation after I request a new IP config from the DHCP server (through the following command: "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig /renew")
"Z:\>ipconfig /al
The current directory is invalid.

Could someone help me find out what happens
Thank you
Julien.

Change to a local drive like C: before you do this.

Command is---> cd c:

The shell won't process commands if it doesn't like the current directory
(your z: is a network path-- but it isn't valid because you don't have an
IP!)

Oops . . .

The command is either

C:

or

cd /d C:\
