DHCP dilemma (not a question, for once)

For all the people that can't get their windows XP box to accept dhcp
from the LAN ("Invalid IP address"), go back to Services (r/click My
Computer, Manage, expand Services) and make sure the DHCP and DNS
services are on AUTOMATIC. (since they won't start on manual)
i can't believe how long it took me to figure that one out. This
should only apply to users that have changed the services trying to
increase performance.
