When booting from a bootdisk to connect to a network resource it fails.
After looking at the logs of the Windows 2003 DHCP server I get the following
error:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MRxSmb
Event Category: None
Event ID: 8006
Date: 5/3/2005
Time: 1:29:17 PM
User: N/A
Computer: PNG-AD-02
Description:
The browser has received an illegal datagram from the remote computer
FDSAGYKLU to name PIEDMONT on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{44CF8D43-. The data is
the datagram.

Data:

0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
After doing a Netmon Trace the client never successfully receives and IP
address and it tries to connect via Netbeui, which fails.
Any ideas on why the illegal datagrams. Everything was working just fine
and the only difference is that DHCP was moved from Windows 2000 to Windows
2003. XP/2000 clients can get DHCP address just fine.
