Hello, I have downloaded the emulator of PocketPC 2003 SE from
beta.microsoft.com (www.pocketpcdn.com for how to downloed)

I have installed the emulator. I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 and I
could not see the list of
new emulators that come with DeviceEmultator050419.msi under VS.NET 2003
menus ----> Tools->Options->Device Tools->Devices.

But I could run the emulators from the Start Menu->Microsoft Device Emulator
Preview folder
..

Do I need VS.NET 2005 Beta 2 to test or is it possible to use VS.NET 2003?

thanx

rifat

The Device Emulator preview is for stand-alone use - e.g. good for demos and
tests away from a machine with VS2005. However it is not designed to be used
with VS2003. Pocket PC 2003 SE emulator images are available for the VS2003
Emulator:-
