Device Problem?

I'm running WinXP and have networked my machine via usb
and HPNA (phone wiring) to a Motorola gateway/router.
The problem is that the network hangs if I leave the
computer running overnight. No Applications are running
(Other than start-up stuff) and the hard disks/system is
in an always-on power state. I have to reboot the
computer to get the network conneciton going again. When
the network connection hangs, I can not open the
connection properties or task maanger. Event Viewer does
not report anything.

Other computers on the network (ether net and direct usb
connections) are not impacted and still work fine.

HELP!!
