Hi Kathy,

Download this version of Tracker and use it instead of the Windows File
Explorer:

No, and you shouldn't download unknown software like that anyway. See if
the camera card works in a different computer. If it does, you know the
camera card is OK. If it doesn't, you need a new camera card. See if a
different camera card works in your computer. If it doesn't, you know
your computer is at fault and you should contact HP tech support.

Since you say you don't know much about computers, the most effective
course of action for you might be to take the machine to either a
knowledgeable friend or computer professional and have someone who knows
what they are doing check it out for you.

Hello again Kathy,

Once this program has been installed, you use it in the same way you
would use the Windows File Explorer, in that, after you have plugged
your card into your PC, you fire up the new program and your card should
appear somewhere down the bottom of the list of drives. Click on the new
card drive to view its contents. If you have preview selected at the
bottom of the screen, you should be able to view any photos
individually. You can then move or copy and photos to your hard drive
just by dragging them into an appropriate folder of your choice.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
John.
