Having a problem with my girlfriends computer. She's running XP SP2. I tried
messing with it but can't discover the problem. The problem is with the
memory card reader.

If you put a card in it (SD card as example), autoplay kicks in, and I can
open it in folder view. You can view the files, or copy them to the PC. Yet
if you try to copy something to the card, the process starts, then I get a
"Device not ready" error.

I checked, and from what I can tell nothing is accessing the drive. The PC
is Virus/Ad/Mal/Spyware free. As for any recent changes done from since it
did work correctly, I couldn't tell you exactly, but nothing that could of
caused this (software wise). There is only one user on the computer, so yes,
she has admin rights. Under computer management everything seems ok as well.

I can also rule out the cards, as all that don't work on her PC, work fine
on mine (I can copy/write to them). Any help would be much appreciated.
