My device manager will not look for drivers on the internet. Is there a way
to make it look for them?

Not that I know of, it only searches the MS site. Why are you wanting to
update drivers? If things are working leave them be. Only update drivers
if there is a problem and the new driver might fix it, or it has some new,
must have feature. Only get drivers from the device manufacturer's web
site, the computer OEM's web site if it's a major OEM like Dell or HP, or
the motherboard manufacturer's web site for on board devices.

Never get driver updates from windows update unless it's an MS manufactured
device.
