My Device Manager is blank. I just get a blank window when opening it (not a
single device is shown).

I tried clicking on START, RUN, typing services.msc. But the plug and play
are already on automatic.

I'm running WindowsXP Home Edition. Any ideas?

John,

Spyware can cause this and you may have it. One in particular is "
spyware.Apropos C."

Read over this site and download aproposfix.exe

Note: that the utility referenced above removes a Malware responsible for
blank Device Manager.
